I often dress a salad with some kind of flavored vinegar, so was anxious to try this Honey Ginger White Balsamic Vinegar. It is really delicious on salad--slightly sweet, slightly spicy. I've also used it in marinades for chicken on the grill, along with a neutral oil to let the vinegar flavors shine through. Definitely will repurchase!
A nice, sweet, bright taste, but super strong! Could be overwhelming if you're not careful. Goes well with the Persian Lime olive oil and with the garlic olive oil. It can stand up to straight garlic in cooking too. Made honey ginger Asian chicken with it -- fantastic!
This is our go-to vinegar for salads...it works with apple and walnuts, pear and cranberries and feta, my husband even likes it with shaved cabbage and almonds! Light and flavorful!
I paired this with basil and garlic olive oil and marinated cubed chicken and veggies and cooked in my air fryer. Delicious asian type flavor and minus a ton of calories...makes a great dressing too!
So far I’ve tried this as a marinade for salmon and as a dressing for salad. It provided a lovely flavor for both. My one gripe would be that there is no ingredient list on the bottle. I would like to know if the flavoring comes from actual ginger and honey or if it’s from “flavoring”.
Hi Sandra!
The bottles don't have ingredients on them because we fill the oils and vinegars to order, so we don't know what will go in them.
As far as the flavored balsamics, they start with the Traditional balsamic as a base and mix in essential oil extracts from various plants to achieve the flavor. I hope this helps and thank you for your business and your kind review!
